Instructions

  • Cover and let rise at room temperature for 18-20 hours.

  • Shape into a round and let rise in a Dutch oven for 2 hours.

  • Score the top and place the pot into a cold oven.

  • Set oven to 450F and bake for 50 minutes covered.

  • Remove lid and bake for 10 more minutes until golden brown.

  • Cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving with fresh butter.
